Happy Bird-day

It's time again for the
challenge.

This week's challenge is:
Clean and Simple
(plus a sentiment)

Happy Bird-day

CAS (Clean and Simple) cards I find are one of the hardest to do for me.
I always want to add more...
I chose Balloon Birdie   for my image choice from 2 Cute Ink, colored with a collection of blue & teal copics; set on a dark teal 6"x6" card, a sweet plaid paper background and a simple tag flag hand-lettered sentiment.  I think I made my little blue boy Balloon Birdie  CAS enough!

This week's Sponsor is:

Donating: 3 images, winners choice

CAS is always popular for a card choice so I hope you join us in our challenge...

Life Goes On....
Ahhh.... another weekend.... another weekend I'm working!  LOL  The sun is trying to break thru the cloud cover and warm up the Earth and these ol' bones.... thank goodness I have outside windows to get a sun-filled perk every once in awhile....
My BFF Pam (and family) are travelling back home and will be soon crossing back into Canada from their time in Arizona.   The warm weather, new friends and their fifth wheel has been a wonderful time for them.  Many memories, great food, drink and laughter.
Charli had a busy day yesterday as he went for a walk/hike in Okanagan Mountain Park with Boyd.  He thought it was the best time!
Here's him on the trail with Boyd and then tuckered out on the rear seat of our vehicle....

I was done work by 2 pm so we grabbed a change of shoes for me, then we headed to Kelowna Mountain Bridges (a fairly new (tourist) attraction) to walk the suspension bridges and cliff boardwalk with Charli.  He didn't mind the walking areas, yet the bridges were a bit windy so he found that a little stressful.  And he figured out that we were suspended and wasn't sure of the heights.  It is during this time of his young life that we try to have him experience all kinds of noise and stimulation so that he can be confident and not spooked or scared.  He enjoyed the park but we thought the wind was a little much for him as he didn't care for his ears being blown about or wind blowing at his bum...  He LOVED seeing all the people and staff and expected that everyone will want to meet him.... he's got that nailed!

Kelowna Mountain Bridges

Thought for the day...

Do something everyday that challenges you...

What challenged you today?

Myself? Well, walking over the suspension bridges, with a puppy in my arms.  My Yoga sessions have greatly improved my balance and it was a great thing!
