It's time again for the

This week's challenge is:

Anything Goes
(plus a sentiment)

Birthdays are ordinary days sprinkled with star dust...

Using the sweet image from Sweet Pea Stamps, Artist Elaine Cox's Moon of Wintertime colored with copics and spicas.  Layered onto a 6x6 card and all ink distressed edged.  A glitter bird and blings make it a little sparkly...

Shine On You Crazy Diamond....

Hi everyone.... it's catch up time... to see what I've been doing up to my most recent post... LOL
I had been busy between work, creating a bunch of new images for Scribbles Designs, the holiday season, dog training classes and of course more work...

First off... here are some of the tranquility bracelets (some with matching earrings) that I have created.... each one has quite a collection of beads, Swarovski crystals, glass lamp beads, natural stones and other bling... each bracelet has a dragonfly of some form as that puts a little bit of me with you while wearing...

Turquoise set

Blue Green
Warm Red set

Swarovski Silver set
Before Christmas, I had a commission piece of lettering to do for my GF Gail, hand lettering Freya's name and some ivy for a keepsake chest.  Little Freya posing in front of the chest...

Lettering

Freya...
Through it all, I did complete some cards.... unfortunately I didn't get them posted in time or at all...  so here is a collection...

I did get this entered into the 12 Months of Christmas

And of course, we couldn't be without (a few! LOL) photos of Charli (Aladdin's Good Time Charli).  We had a little break from Obedience & Agility classes and Charli was really excited about Obedience starting back up on January 10th...

A Charli needing a haircut
Charli's first Christmas... he's digging into his pile of presents...

The tired dog afterward...

Charli enjoying one of his new sweaters in our record snowfall

Gotta check out each paw step in the snow

And oh so tired... sleeping on my favorite rocking chair in Sandy's studio

I had a few craft fairs that I was in... I had made tree topper Frosty Hats... I still have a remnant of one of the glue burns on my hand...

Also, making some wreaths... 3 pink ones (two custom ones and one for a charity silent auction) ... this one of them below has a feather boa wrap, lots of fun - pink owls, candy and glitter shoes....

January 1st, I started a new class with Joanne Sharpe My Artfully Inspired Life 2015.  A year long art journal... I'm behind on coloring and I'll post once they are drawn, penned and then colored...

Drawing & penned

Watercoloured

This is my mantra and word page.... thanks for my word, Ms Kathy.... it does fit me quite well I must say...

So with the last photo... that ...almost... catches you up....

This is a start of a beautiful friendship...

I fell in love with this image and thought it perfect for this theme... I used Girl Puppy Love from Bugaboo colored with copics and layered onto a collection of papers and some twine to accent the vertical stripes.

Challenge #22 Uniqueness

I Love Ewe...

Enjoying the sweet Mr Wool as Cool Wool, colored with copics and onto a fun dotty themed card.  Used enamel dots for the accents and hand lettered the sentiment...
Uniqueness is what sets you apart from the next sheep... er... person... being unlike anyone else... It is also what defines the beauty of a person.  Many times, we fail to see that beauty in ourselves...

BIG GD Challenge

BIG  GD Challenge

I was asked to take part in the big Guest Designer Challenge over at Scrapping 4 Fun....  we were given a sketch to use as our guide and could create a card or layout, could be any size, could flip the sketch, to think out of the box...  I used a monochromatic theme of color and went for more of a CAS thought with it... simply creating the elements...

I used a monochromatic theme of color and went for more of a CAS theme with my card... simply creating the elements...  I used a newer image from Scribbles Designs, Snow Fun, colored with copics.  The die cut vellum doily behind the image mimicked snow and there was definitely a snow flake theme in the papers.

Here is the sketch...

We are voted on by the followers of Scrapping 4 Fun Challenges and if you'd like to vote for my card, you can become a follower (if you're not already of Scrapping 4 Fun) and then vote...  Thank you in advance!

At least I'm in a better mood since my last post.... good thing huh?  LOL
It was a busy time as we had a lot going on around home, dog agility training, obedience training, work and then to have DH end up in hospital for a couple of days.  He's doing better now and we're waiting on a pathology report oh his biopsy.

The above is my thought for the day...
Wishing you happiness... everyday...

Happy Pumpkin Time....

I had fun with this Pumpkin Truck image from Scribbles Designs colored with copics on a pumpkin patterned paper and layered with coordinating orange papers and blue contrast cardstock.  Mind you the blue looks more of a purple... LOL Trust me it's blue!  LOL The sentiment is of my own hand and there are 3 orange blings to finish it off...

Happy Halloween!  It was Charli's first Halloween and although he was a little concerned about his costume - we think it reminded him of wearing his onsie after his neutering - he LOVED greeting the kids at the door.  The kids LOVED meeting him too so it was a great night.
Here he is...

Thought for the day...

Enjoy each and every moment...
