It's time again for the
This week's challenge is:
More Than 3 Layers
(plus a sentiment)
Every Flower is a
Soul Blossoming in Nature...
More than 3 layers? LOL I think I have 9... I loved the sweet image from Paper Pretties called Blossom colored with copics and layered onto a collection of DPs. I also used one of the sentiments included with Blossom.
Added a wooden button with some matching twine along
with the paper rick rack to finish it off.

Life Goes On...
This card ended up having a dedicated purpose. I had been long overdue to a visit to Auntie Teresa (our Vet) to thank her and her staff for the care of Ali. It was a hugging, tears, more hugs & tears conversation with Teresa. She is one incredibly dedicated vet. I was a mess in a bitter-sweet way as we talked about Ali, cancer and care and family and a gamut of news.
So this card above was for Ali and I tried to get it as black as I could for a black dog without loosing all of the image. Ali had begun to silver (a trait from her gene line) so the pup above being greyish-silver-black worked. I was also able to share the news With Teresa that we are on puppy wait for Charli... due mid February... with bringing Charli home mid-April.
I'm loving the foggy days around here... it is so pretty and humid and the frost is starting to build up on the branches and grasses. But as soon as the sun comes, it'll all be gone.
Thought for the Day...
“Petting, scratching, and cuddling a dog could be as soothing to the mind and heart as deep meditation and almost as good for the soul as prayer.” ~Dean Koontz
