Bah Hum Bug ... Happy Holidays...

It's time again for the
challenge.

This week's challenge is:
NON-Traditional Christmas Colors

(plus a sentiment)

Bah Hum Bug ... Happy Holidays...

A fun image from Simply B Stamps Bahumbug Christian, I flipped the image, then colored with copics on a multi-layered card with papers, flags and blings to match from my massive stash.  Inside it says "Happy Holidays" to hopefully change the foul mood of Christian on the front! Keeping away from traditional colors does offer a great challenge as you do get swept into the colors of the season...  I wanted a card that was sharp and succinct to the colors used.
 I hope it works!

Life Goes On...
Hello again today to all of you!  Hope your weekend is going great! I think other than a few little gifty items I am all done with shopping!  Whew!  That's early for me... Now to get them into the mail... so those of you who receive packages... I hope they will be on time!  Guess I can be perfect, right?

I am hoping to try this fabulous shortbread recipe that my BFFs & I had at a local winery Ladies Night...  it was a traditional style with a twist.  I have gathered most of the ingredients and just need to get the final few and then go for it.  Shortbread is definitely one of my holiday downfalls.  I grew up with the very traditional Scotch shortbread, rolled shortbread and whipped shortbread.  My mouth is salivating!  LOL

We're up to one of the local ski mountains to do some snow shoeing... well at least an 'attempt' at snow shoeing.  I'm thinking some pain meds might be needed... hee hee

My yoga session went really well... you do feel so much better after limbering up. I don't think I'll do a yoga session tomorrow before going... geez... one can't be that crazy? Can you?

Oh and kudos to my big sis as she's "hiking" up the hill from her new place to work and seeing some fabulous results... way to go!

Thought for the day...
Never wear anything that panics the cat.

Hmmm...what to wear today?  (but, Sandy, you don't own a cat!!!)

The shortbread was yummy but I think I will keep to the old reliable one. Less anxiety!
